A friend, who worked away from home all week, always made a special effort with
his family on the weekends. Every Sunday morning he would take his 7-year
old granddaughter out for a drive in the car for some bonding time. Just
he and his granddaughter.

One particular Sunday however, he had a bad cold and really didn’t feel like
being up at all. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she
would take their granddaughter out. When they returned, the little
girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her
grandfather.

‘Well, did you enjoy your ride with grandma?’

‘Oh yes, PaPa’ the girl replied, ‘and do you know what? We didn’t see a
single dumb bastard or lousy shit head anywhere we went today!’

Brings a tear to your eye doesn’t it?

The event headquarters of this Grizzly Groundswell Strategy will be in the heart of downtown Minneapolis’ historic warehouse district at the newly opened “Centerfield” (formally Fatso’s), located at 119 North Fourth Street at the corners of North 4th Street and 2nd Avenue North.

Lets Get This Right and Grizzly Groundswell are setting up their Grizzly Groundswell Strategy Headquarters at Centerfield. Centerfield has graciously opened their doors to house the credentialed bloggers and provide our RNC convention headquarters in which we will be blogging and broadcasting our radio shows from.

All Grizzly Groundswell Strategy members, bloggers and participants are to check into Centerfield when they arrive in Minnesota and make yourself comfortable throughtout the convention!

Wednesday Sept. 4th from 4-6PM we will have a Grizzly Groundswell Strategy Event Bash to celebrate this historic coverage of grassroots Awakening, Standing Up and Stepping into Action to change the political landscape in our backyard and inspiring others to effect such change in thier backyard all across this Great Nation! Everyone is welcome and come and get to know your Grizzly, Lets Get This Right!

On Sunday, August 31, 2008 - from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., join the Campaign for Barb Davis White for Congress 2008 and the Ed Matthews for Congress Campaign to kick-off the start of the Republican National Convention in Downtown Minneapolis.
