Matthew sends in a tip to get Grizzly with!
Tuesday, July 15th, 2008Matthew, one of our many faithful readers here on the Grizzly Groundswell sent me this “Grizzly Tip” in my email today!
It seems there is a grassroots movement to get an honorable Black man on the Presidential ticket as a write in. I admire and applaud that. I use to think the world of Colin Powell and I would still very much like to shake his hand. However, after the shake up and way he served our President I am not sure I could support him for the highest office in the world. Although, I was not behind the scenes and I am sure if I was, my perception may be different. I am not supporting him this presidential ticket but here on the Grizzly Groundswell I support those who do and I want to get their voice out there.
Declaring the “Romancing the Grizzly Strategy” a success with being granted a press credential to the RNC National convention. It seems that John McCain knows that he McCan’t do it alone but needs the conservatives that I represent here on the Grizzly Groundswell behind him. So my support will go to McCain as long as us conservatives can keep him on a short leash and on the right side of the aisle as much as possible. He will honor our military men and women and keep us safe from without. From within, we must continue to lead and keep ourselves safe by chasing out Socialist Squirrels where ever we find them in the government and our beloved institutions.

Hello Chad,I have been a reader of your site for awhile, and have enjoyed many of the topics posted. When I received an E-Mail from a friend recently, I thought it might be a good topic for your discussion.
The E-Mail was discussing the possible outcomes of the US 2008 Election. It wasn’t until I saw who this E-Mail was wanting to be elected that I got curious. The E-Mail that my friend received was a movement to get Colin Powell written in as President of the United States, or at least to gain enough supporters that it would get him on one of the current candidate’s tickets.

One really great post I loved on http://www.groundswellforcolinpowell.org was Colin Powell’s Rules:
- It ain’t as bad as you think. It will look better in the morning.
- Get mad, then get over it.
- Avoid having your ego so close to your position that when your position falls, your ego goes with it.
- It can be done!
- Be careful what you choose. You may get it.
- Don’t let adverse facts stand in the way of a good decision.
- You can’t make someone else’s choices. You shouldn’t let someone else make yours.
- Check small things.
- Share credit.
- Remain calm. Be kind.
- Have a vision. Be demanding.
- Don’t take counsel of your fears or naysayers.
- Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier.
I went ahead and made bold the ones that point to Colin Powell’s eternal optimism. I think our optimism as conservatives truly define who we are and who the socialist squirrels are not. We build with optimism and the Socialist Squirrel destroy with pessimism. Colin Powell is a great man and maybe will be a Presidential candidate in years to come, but this year, this Grizzly Groundswell Teddy Bear must support McCain as we lead McCain to the right in order to defeat the Socialist Squirrels of Obamanation and Heir Hitlery.
That is right, I do not feel Hillary is out of this picture. She is a liberal out of power and that makes her dangerous. The DNC loves to tie loose ends with helicopter crashes so my best tip to Obama and Bill is not to set foot in one. If Hillary and the DNC bumps off Obama, she will have successfully destroyed her party and maybe race relations for her blood thirst for power. If Hillary and the DNC bump off Bubba Bill then heir Hitlary can ride to the election as a victim and widow. If you look at the failed and old Socialist Squirrel DNC playback these are two viable options for Hillary. Bill and Obama, I don’t want to see you befall this fate at the hands of your socialist squirrel DNC and IWW party. So keep your head on a swivel and don’t step foot in any helicopters. Now if I was blogging back before the DNC and IWW iced Wellstone, I would of told Wellstone the same thing and reminded him of his promise not to run again.
Now until my dieing day here in Minnesota some idiot socialist squirrel will still have a Wellstone sticker on his bumper.
This is one way you can drive in Minnesota and never get tail-gated. Other drivers understand that you are truly a socialist squirrel idiot and give you all the room you need to get to your next union meeting or tree hugging session. Remember, we don’t know if you remembered to take your psych meds that day, so we are careful around you. You have proven by your bumper stickers that you do not know how to make good decisions!

What
I will be discussing on your show Sat. has never been discussed in
public before. That is to say, not in my writing or broadcasting

About the
Author
Michael A. Minton got his start in politics at the ripe
old age of six, when his father, G. Terry Minton, ran for Alderman in
Louisville, KY. “Mike” has worked with campaigns to elect former
Rep. Anne Northup, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and most
recently with the Romney for president campaign.
He got his
start in his writing career as a freelance reporter for Talon News

Grizzly Groundswell Awarded a Blogger Press Credential to the Republican National Convention 2008!

I can not tell you how excited I am to flex this new media muscle we have worked so hard to create in the Grizzly Groundswell. July 21st from 7-9PM CST http://www.blogtalkradio.com/grizzlygroundswell I will be looking back on one year of getting Grizzly. I will be talking about the inspiration behind the Grizzly Groundswell, The milestones and numbers we have reached and where we are going in the next year of Getting Grizzly!
Honestly, I am just the catalyst to this grassroots conservative movement that seemed not to have any orchestration. I like to call myself the glorified custodian of the Grizzly Groundswell. It is truly an open market that if not utilized, your blog and the conservative message will not be rewarded with action and results. yet many strong, brilliant and motivated individuals all yearning for a place to unite with similar folk that all are motivated in expressing our different, but so similar conservative ideals, values and goals for this great shining city on a hill have utilized this unique blogosphere concept! It is too those individual that I owe all the praise, adoration and thanks for making this possible.
I have been so blessed over this last year. I have met fast friends and gained some amusing socialist squirrel enemies along the way. The enemies of the Grizzly Groundswell, those fluffy little tailed socialist squirrels understand my great grandfather defeated them once before and I am here to do the same.
My great grandfather did make one mistake. He dismantled his IVA association after the historic recall and demise of the Socialist Non Partisan Party and did not equip the next generations to keep socialist squirrels chased out of our beloved institutions and our government. However, being a descendant who took the time to research his strategic and heroic story, I now understand what it will takes to once again bring the socialists squirrels to their knees. I will be sharing with you some of my strategy and my vision for the Grizzly Groundswells future.
Together, we are going to leave an institution that will forever educate, unite and battle socialist squirrels for generations to come. We will never vanquish this socialist, communist, Nazi fascist and radical sin or sickness from humanity because as an idealism it is a seductive and persuasive deception that the human slothfulness will always embrace if uneducated to its deadly threat.
The key to defeating socialist squirrels is unity, motivation, determination and education of the seductive deception socialism is by exposing its despotism and corruption. Socialism always walks hand in hand with tyranny and corruption. This is the threat and it’s weakness. When good men and women do nothing is when this evil takes hold and eats away at even a great country such as ours like a cancer. We must remove it at every turn with surgical accuracy through exposing the corruption and tyranny that always follow.
I can not do this alone. E. W. Everson did not do it alone. Nationwide, good men and women stood alongside him and fought shoulder to shoulder for the hearts and minds of the American people. We must do the same thing night and day as we are doing on the Grizzly Groundswell!
I will also layout our exciting Grizzly Groundswell strategy for covering the the Republican National Convention right here in St. Paul, MN, my backyard!
