Open Your Ears and See the Truth

Turn on the TV, look on the internet or in the newspapers, see what your elected officials are saying and what you will hear are people espousing the virtues of Nationalized Health Care. (Aka Socialized Health Care) The single payer system is all we need to save us from economic crisis since “the soaring costs of health care are the biggest driver of rising federal debt.”* Really? I would have thought all the bailouts, stimulus packages and an ever-growing federal budget would be one of the biggest drivers of rising federal debt.

It’s time for America and Americans to take a reality check. Open your ears and listen to people that live in countries with single payer systems. They lack in care. They wait for tests and to see doctors, often times being told they can’t or don’t need to see a doctor. Case in point; my parents snowbird to Arizona every winter. They have made friends with several Canadian snow-birders. They have shared stories of their health care. I don’t want their health care reality. Not being able to have diagnostic tests in a timely fashion? Often times the wait puts them into a health care situation where the problem is too far along and they can’t be helped.

Do you still think single payer health care is the answer? Do you think it is the best we can do to fix a problem that was years in the making?

Socialized medicine has never worked and many countries that currently have socialized medicine have been trying to tell us that it doesn’t work. But for some reason Americans are not listening. Open your ears so you can see the truth.

Many unions and groups that will have some benefit from this system are supporting it and spending a lot of money to tell you that it is good. But do you know who else is supporting the move to the socialistic single payer system? That would be the Democratic Socialists of America. Yes, the socialists in this country support not only President Obama’s so called health care reform, but most of his programs get their support.

Still think it’s not a socialist plan?
